Little Black Dress

This is my most recent post on Polyvore, a little "Black Dress" inspiration!
I love when I can dress up, and this perfectly reflects how I like to look: Simple and Elegant.
I don't like a lot of fluff and sparkle, and I don't want my outfit to wear me. I feel most elegant in a simple black dress, a pair of pearl earrings and some nice simple heels.
Enjoy :)

Oh-so Cozy Weekend Outfit

Hello Everyone! Long time no talk!
So I recently started a Polyvore, which if you don't know what that is, get out from under that rock and look that junk up. When creating sets, you can have your Tumblr or Blog or Facebook or whatever linked to your Polyvore profile so whatever you post on Polyvore, also posts on whatever social media site you have it linked to. So naturally I linked up my blog!

This set my favorite Fall weekend outfit!
When the air is chilly and it's rainy and wet, I love to bundle up in a nice over-sized sweater and a pair of army green skinny jeans. (They are a must for Autumn.) Dark lipstick this time of year is also a great way to say "I'm not angsty, it's just autumn!" or "I'm angsty AND it's Autumn!". Whatever floats your boat....But I love it paired with a lovely sweater. The simplicity or the sweater and the angst of the lipstick balance one another out! Give it a try!
Enjoy :)

Fall 'Yall!

It's almost that wonderful time of year again when kids go back to school, the Halloween decorations make their very early appearance, and the weather gets cooler. Fall is by far my FAVORITE season! It has always held wonderful memories for me of going to the pumpkin patch and watching Halloween movies and eating Chinese food on the couch (doesn't everybody do that?).

During this season, I plan to write more blogs post on fall inspired makeup, cozy cute outfits, halloween costumes, favorite Halloween movies, etc. Pretty much, all fall all the time!

Let me know any suggestions you have for Fall blog posts!

Beauty Babe

Hello everyone! So, I LOVE watching Youtube videos about makeup tutorials and hair tutorials and beauty and fashion hauls. Like....I have a bit of an obsession. It's a fantastic way to get info on new products coming out, or tips and tricks for makeup and hair. In fact, watching the Youtube beauty gurus is usually how I learn about new products, or brands I've never heard of!

A new product that I recently bought at Sephora because of good things I'd heard from Youtube, is the Beauty Blender Sponge.

Oh My Jeebus.
This tiny, adorable, pink sponge has become my holy grail tool for applying my foundation! It is quite possibly the best $20 I have spent. And I know what you're thinking, "$20??". I know, it seems like way too much to spend on a freakin sponge, those were my exact thoughts actually. But hear me out....

The beauty Blender is a small sponge with a rounded bottom and a pointed top, perfect for getting into small areas like around the eyes.
To use the sponge you simply get it wet, sqeeze the water out, towel dry until damp, and get gorgeous! Simple, right?

It's crazy soft, and grows twice as big when wet, so it doesn't take long to put foundation on your entire face. It can be used with liquid, cream, whipped, mineral, powder, and any other foundation you can think of!

The instructions recommend you wash it every other use to keep it clean and bacteria free. But they say to wash it after EVERY use if you have sensitive or acne prone skin, but it is really all a personal preference.

To clean my sponge I use Johnson and Johnson's No More Tears baby shampoo. It's quite gentle so it won't ruin your sponge, but it will kill any bacteria and wash away the residual foundation. A typical Beauty Blender will last about 3 or 4 months until you'll need to replace it.

They sell a special cleaner design for the Beauty Blender, but I'm not willing to spend a lot of $$ when I already have a cleaner that works. Ya know?

Anyways, I love applying my makeup with this! It leaves a flawless finish and never makes my foundation looks cakey or uneven. It allows me to blend the foundation beautifully into my hairline and down onto my neck, without leaving visible marks or streaks.

I absolutely love it! I can't think of anything negative to say about it! If you're thinking of buying one now, definitely do your own research, watch How To videos because this type of makeup application isn't for everyone. If you have come to the decision that you DO want to try it, Amazon.com has much better deals than Sephora, usually you can buy two for the price of one on Amazon!

Thanks for reading guys, leave comments with feed back if you'd like! I'd love to hear about your Beauty Blender experience!
